Depósito Negociado
Depósito Negociado is a financial application in national or foreign currency that allows choosing the best conditions to apply your monetary resources:

  • Full flexibility in terms of maturity and interest payment;
  • Higher interest paid,  given the possibility to negotiate the applicable rate;
  • Remuneration based on a negotiated fixed rate.​

Interest Rate
The Gross Nominal Interest Rate (TANB) is negotiable and remains fixed throughout the term of the deposit.


The term deposit maturity is negotiable. When establishing a term deposit, the debt value date in the current account is that of the credit held in the Client’s savings account. 

At maturity and/or total or partial prepayment the applicable date (D) of the term deposit will be that of the credit value in the Client’s current account.  

Interest Payment
Interest will be paid in a period pre-agreed with the Client upon capital incorporation or credited in the associated current account, according to the conditions mentioned in the "Capitalization Scheme".

Early Mobilization
It is allowed total liquidation or early withdrawals, at any moment of the term deposit, with a penalty on interest due in accordance to the Bank's Price List, available for consultation at any Millennium bim branch. 

Capitalization Scheme
Interest will be credited on the related current account, without capitalization.

Capitals Warrant
Guarantee the payment of the total amount at maturity or in the event of early mobilization.​​

Access Conditions
Private Clients, holders of a current account at Millennium bim in Meticais, US Dollars, Euros or Rands.

Minimum Amount of Establishment
500.000,00 MZN.

Reinforcements are not allowed.

Automatic renewals are not allowed.

Tax Policy
Deposit’s Revenues are subject to withholding corresponding to Stamp Duty (Imposto de Selo) at a rate of 10% (IRPS Code Law No. 33/2007 of 31 December).​
